The Upper Iowa Center at Fort Sill, OK, offers classes on post to both military personnel and family members as well as civilians in the area. Opening on September 1, 2010, UIU offers two associate programs and a bachelor’s of science degree in five majors. Courses can also be blended with UIU distance learning programs (online and independent study) to complete twelve other majors. UIU offers courses on post during six eight-week terms during the academic year. All courses are offered during the evenings. Upper Iowa has been recognized by Military Advanced Education and by GI Jobs as one of the nation’s top military-friendly universities.

Please see the Current Class Schedule. The class schedule is relatively flexible to meet student needs. Classes normally meet twice a week, Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday in the evenings, as well as Saturday during the day.
The Harry S Truman Army Education Center at Fort Sill provides a learning center where students are able to access computers and other online resources. Two local libraries are available in the area: Nye Library at 1640 Randolph Road, Fort Sill (phone: 580/442-2048), and Lawton Public Library at 110 SW 4th Street, Lawton (580/581-3450).
